Mini Me

For a one week project we have been asked to create a miniture doll, with a miniture outfit to create a miniature me. Firstly we will make a mood board showing our personal interests and how it affects our fashion. Then second of all were going to create to the doll using wading and Calico material. After the doll is made we then move onto making illustrations to design an outfit for the doll which represents us as an individual. Finally make the clothes and add to the doll.

So sure, everyone likes a nice cup of tea right? I must have at least 4 a day, I just love tea, it's relaxing, and really helps to calm me down after a day full of antics. 

Winter! I was born on the 23rd of December 1994, and I look forward to winter every year! Not just because it's christmas, or my birthday. Simply because I love the atmosphere. I love the wrapping up warm, going home to a candle lit room with an open fire.

Being in love and having chemistry with another person is such an amazing gift. Being able to act yourself, being protected and happy with another person is an amazing feeling. It's a massive part of my life and I love being in love.

Music is also a massive impact in my life as it will be to many other people. Without music I wouldn't be able to express my feelings as much as I do, listening to music that links to the specific mood you are in, whether it be happy or sad, it helps me a lot when it comes to day to day life. 

Making people smile or happy is something that makes me feel amazing. The fact that I can make someones day just by giving a complement, or a gift or some sort of happiness makes me happy. One of the best feelings in the world.

Ralph Lauren Menswear Collection Fall 2012

Absolutely love Ralph Lauren's menswear collection! Something I shall be looking at for a starting point! The theme for this collection is 'World war 1' and 'Downtown Abbey'. A beautiful combination. Very traditional english and a wealthy and expensive look. Also quite wintery and christmasy ready for this season. With a mixture of tweed, knitwear, corded pants and brogues, this look is a must for high street shops for menswear. I will be taking this collection and interpreting it in my own way to mix with my theme of 'Male Body Structures' for my new project 'Shape and structure'. I shall be talking about all the different kinds of body shapes, diets, world war 1 history, fashion in the 1920's and much much more. My main starting point is Male body shapes, and 1920's menswear. I thought by doing menswear instead of ladies wear would give my portfolio for university a bit of a variety so they can see what I can do.

This project is still yet to come. But as it's not far off I should start to prepare. I am in dire need of a male model! I have decided to design and make menswear, to show that I have a variety of different aspects of Fashion. If at all interested I will welcome and look forward to seeing any emails.

Recycle Project 2012

This project was all based upon recycle, and the task was to create a garment out of an item that is used in every day life. So I chose a basic item, curtains. I took them, manipulated them into creating this beautiful garment. I wanted it to be based also upon Autumn and all of the colours. The shoot was taken in Lymm, Warrington, and was all in all a beautiful outcome.
